A Fine Romance

Over the past few weeks I have been working on a scrapbook kit and along the way improving my design skills thanks to some wonderful and generous people at Scraps N Pieces and their Designer Mentoring Course.

The results of this labor are available for download for a couple of weeks in the Scraps N Pieces gallery. Whilst you are there, check out some of the other kits from other designers on the same course.

Here is my creation – a kit full of romance and love.  We have a full kit, Upper & Lowercase Alpha, Wordarts, 2 Quickpages and 2 Templates.

Spring is coming and the grass is getting greener

Well not here in California where we are in the midst of a drought and the hills have stayed brown all winter.  That is totally weird to us.

Today…

So I have been a little quiet on the design front recently – lets put that down to computer problems that came in waves.  Just got one issue sorted and another one hit.  I have set up my computer so many times over the past few months, it is silly.  But hopefully, fingers crossed, we are up and running again now.

I discovered that ScrapMatters have recently started up their Color Challenge again.  You can either produce a page or a mini kit in that month’s colors.  I thought I would jump straight in and put together a mini kit.

So here it is.  I called the kit simply “Today” because I felt it was a kit for everyday use.

Today by Lady Sherwood Designs. Produced for Scrapmatters November Color Challenge.

There are 10 papers, 16 elements and an uppercase alpha with numbers.  I hope you like it.
